The Floor That Outlasts Time

Full Aggregate Exposure Concrete
1. Aggregate Exposure Levels
This determines how much of the stone/rock within the concrete is revealed during grinding:
Cream Finish (No Exposure):
Smooth surface with minimal grinding. Retains natural variations, swirls, and character from the original pour. Elegant and subtle.
Salt-and-Pepper Exposure:
Light grinding reveals fine sand and small aggregate particles. This is a popular modern-industrial look that adds slight texture without going too coarse.
Medium Aggregate Exposure:
More aggressive grinding reveals a mix of fine and medium-sized stones. Offers a decorative and tactile appearance.
Full Aggregate Exposure:
Deep grinding shows large stones within the concrete. Highly decorative and eye-catching; gives a terrazzo-like effect.

2. Sheen Levels
This defines how glossy the finish appears after polishing:
Matte / Satin:
Low-sheen finish with minimal light reflection. Natural and understated; ideal for industrial or subtle modern looks.
Semi-Gloss:
Medium reflectivity. A balanced shine that feels both clean and refined.
High-Gloss / Mirror Finish:
Highly reflective and smooth. This premium look is great for showrooms, galleries, and luxury interiors.

3. Color Treatments/ Stains
Concrete can be colored to add personality or branding:
Integral Color:
Pigment is mixed into the concrete before pouring, giving a uniform color throughout.
Dyes & Stains:
Applied after curing, these can create everything from solid tones to marbled, variegated effects. Acid stains create earthy, mottled finishes; dyes offer bold, vibrant colors.

4. Decorative Enhancements

Scoring or Saw Cuts:
Create patterns like tiles, grids, or custom designs.

Stenciling or Etching:
Adds logos, borders, or artistic detail to the floor.

Embedded Materials:
Glass, metal, or stone can be seeded into the surface and polished down for a unique custom floor.
